I bought all the ingredients to make a quiche for breakfast on Thanksgiving, but it's really hard to resist the urge to make it this morning.

However, I also bought some steel cut oats at Smart & Final yesterday, and I do love a good bowl of Irish oatmeal, too.

Both sound enticing.

However, kids are all still asleep and I'm enjoying the quiet. And, yes, I'm actually writing even though I'm spamming LJ this morning, too.

So, I hate to give up my quiet time.

Cereal seems so blah. Not my thing this morning.

And, I'd rather have something hot.

Maybe I'll just scramble some eggs and throw in bacon bits and cheese. That'll hold me for now. (I have to eat before I can take meds and I've been up an hour so I really SHOULD take meds.)

And, I have enough eggs that it won't endanger my quiche-making project on Thanksgiving.

Mmmmm...quiche.

I blame this on the action scene I'm writing. I think all this action between my wounded heroine and the badass monster she's fighting is making me hungry.

Baby Malik has MANY warm kitty hugs this morning. Lots of cold, wet kitty kisses, too.

And, just in case you need one, he sends a HUGE ::kitty hug:: to you!!!

Hot Damn!

Yes!

I got the second set of feedback on my screenplay, Gateway to Eternity.

I'd reworked part of the ending to incorporate some new ideas I had after I'd sent it off the first time for feedback, and THEY WORKED for the screenwriter reviewing the script.

Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!

This is the best feedback I've gotten so far and I'm THRILLED!

He made a few suggestions for streamlining the screenplay since it's very dense and action-packed, but told me not to delete anything of value, only to see if I spotted anything that wouldn't affect the story if removed.

He told me I should be proud of my work.

I know I still have lots to learn about writing and will always have lots to learn about writing, but it helps to know I'm on the right track and that not all the words I fling at paper/computer screen are crap.

Oh, could be that I got home late from my last trip out. Didn't get home until around 10:00.

I was in and out a lot this afternoon and tonight.

Went to youngest son's play tonight. It was good and he was great. So many people told me what a wonderful job he did. The other kids were great, too. They've been working really hard and the work paid off.

Then, they went out to McDonalds afterward, so I brought oldest two kids home and went all the way back. Whew!

He deserved it, though.

Lucky him. He only has school two days this week. I wish I only had two days of work. Guess I shouldn't complain, though, since I only have three. :)

Much writing to come later this week.

Guess I didn't do too bad today considering everything else I did.
