Too Early on a Saturday Morning

But, boys have to be at school by 6:00 for an Academic Decathlon scrimmage in another city.

Oldest is the assistant coach of the team. Youngest is on the team.

manga_queen is still asleep. Lucky her.

Yawn. Wish I was too.

After I drop them off, I have to find something to do for an hour before the restaurant where I have breakfast opens. I don't want to come all the way back home.

Write, you say? If there's enough light and I can find a place to park and just sit to write. It's still dark outside.

Today, I Am Thankful for Words

The week has been a little rougher than usual.

More to do at work. More running around outside of work because of youngest son's school play. AcaDeca scrimmage today, three hours waiting for them to return, play again tonight. Play tomorrow night.

I'm really looking forward to days off at Thanksgiving in order to rest, relax, and write more.

I haven't had a lot of words this week, but I have a few to report today, which pleases me. I hope there are more tomorrow.
