It's Monday Again

And today, I get to give my one-week notice at work.

The lazy, crazy boss lady is on vacation.

I have TONS of work she left for me to do so her boss wouldn't know it hadn't been done. He wasn't going to let her go on her two-week vacation unless it was done. Quite frankly, as long as she's GONE--out of the office--I don't mind doing her work. At least it'll be quiet and less stressful during my remaining time. Only the commute to contend with this week.

When they tell her I'm quitting, she'll probably call and give me hell, but at least she won't BE there.

So, hopefully today will both be releasing and productive.

This time next week, I'll still be asleep cause new job is very close to home.

Four Days to Go. I Will Not Complain.

Let it suffice to say that today was one of the most difficult days ever. Giving notice at work caused an explosion of unparallelled proportions. Whew! Bad. Very bad.

Some bad things on the financial front too. Sigh. When it rains it pours.

Didn't want to write tonight. Okay, actually, I did want to write tonight, but was totally...well, not even uninspired. I don't know how to explain it. When bad things happen--horrible things even--it's just hard to make those words flow.

Sometimes, you have to dig them out with a spork. So, that's what I did. I sporked them right on out of the old brain. (Ouch.)

And, once they started, they weren't too bad. If I'd actually been inspired, I might have gotten a lot done.
