Four Days to Go. I Will Not Complain.

Let it suffice to say that today was one of the most difficult days ever. Giving notice at work caused an explosion of unparallelled proportions. Whew! Bad. Very bad.

Some bad things on the financial front too. Sigh. When it rains it pours.

Didn't want to write tonight. Okay, actually, I did want to write tonight, but was totally...well, not even uninspired. I don't know how to explain it. When bad things happen--horrible things even--it's just hard to make those words flow.

Sometimes, you have to dig them out with a spork. So, that's what I did. I sporked them right on out of the old brain. (Ouch.)

And, once they started, they weren't too bad. If I'd actually been inspired, I might have gotten a lot done.

Yeah, considering how much they seemed to rely on you, I'm not surprised things went ka-boom when you said you were leaving.

But that's their loss.

Once things calm down, the writing will return :) Although getting a new job is better for your overall, that doesn't mean there won't be an adjustment period.
