Only because I get the feeling that people think I've been bashing the class instructor and that they think he said I should change my character, I have to set the record straight.

My earlier posts were all about ME feeling bad because he thought something was laughable. Quoted straight from my earlier post:

All because a professional told me that something in my universe was laughable and I got upset.

What I'm saying here is NOT that he did something wrong. He did NOTHING wrong. Not one single thing. NOTHING.

My point is that I have not enough self-confidence and that this upset me.

My point is that maybe my ideas are too stupid to be written.

And, that upsets me. No matter how good (or badly) I write, if my ideas are stupid, what good am I as a writer?

That's the entire point.

That said, some people asked for more evidence of what was stupid. I'll post my plot points, but I'm not going to leave the post up for long because there are people on my FL who take every opportunity they can to laugh at me and...well, that's what this is all about.

Probably someone's already told you this, but remember that even if this instructor's opinion is one you think deserves respect, it is still only one person's opinion. You can always change things in rewrite. That doesn't make you *or* your ideas stupid.
