Ladies and Gentlemen...
Jan. 23rd, 2006 10:27 amWe have the most awesome Santa Ana Winds you have ever seen.
I don't think I've seen them blow this hard in over 10 years!!!
What does that mean?
It means that it was 59 degrees when I left home at 6:00 this morning...
As opposed to 37 degrees at 8:00 AM on Saturday morning.
Big difference, huh?

Date: 2006-01-25 03:58 pm (UTC)It normally has to be hotter, though, like in the high 80's or 90's, I think, before something like that happens.

Date: 2006-01-25 04:02 pm (UTC)Of course, mid day, for the past few days, we've been in the 70's so it's LOVELY.

Date: 2006-01-25 04:03 pm (UTC)Not even lotion is helping right now. I'm having to go for the neospirin and bandaids on a couple of my fingers.

Date: 2006-01-25 04:05 pm (UTC)The tree outside my office window here has tiny little leaves. They've been growing for a couple of weeks now, and it just lost all the rest of its old leaves when the wind blew! It likes the warm weather lots.
I don't like socks. Only wear them when it's really cold...like THIS winter.

Date: 2006-01-25 04:06 pm (UTC)We're closer to the desert, so we get them BAD sometimes.
This year seems worse, though, than we've had in a long time.
