I am so indebted to everyone who took the time to read my plea for help yesterday morning and then discussed the problem with me.

THANK YOU.

Putting it into words allowed me to vent some of the frustration I was feeling and kinda blew a hole in the problem.

Today, I feel like I've made a breakthrough and while I know it'll take time to really work things out, I'm at least looking at my work through refreshed eyes.

And, work on the partial is going extremely well. I'm back into the heads of my characters and really thrilled to be there. I feel novel love and story intensity, and I think everything will be okay if I can make it to the holidays.

Time off will make a difference with stress and exhaustion and help me clear my head even more.

I was all ready for a nice, hot, relaxing bath. Ready to settle in and soak before I had to leave to pick up oldest son from night class.

So, I get all comfortable, think over my edits on my partial, think over work I need to do on a couple of screenplays, when all of the sudden...

WHAM!!!!!

It hits me!

An idea!

Not just any idea...

THE idea!

The idea I've been looking for!!!

You see, I have the opportunity to send in a treatment for a pitch to a production company and I couldn't decide what I wanted to pitch. Sending a treatment will give me the time to actually write the screenplay if they like the idea.

I LOVE the idea...and, of course, I hope they do too.

So much for a nice, long bath. I scrambled out and here I am now, working on the logline. Will write the treatment tomorrow. And, then send it out on Friday.

Whether they like it or not, I'm excited about it and can't wait to write. (Though, naturally, I DO hope they like it, too!
