July NaNo Groups

I keep seeing posts of July NaNo-type groups all over the place, so I was curious...

How many of you are going to participate in one (or more) of these groups?

Are you going to do the traditional NaNo 50,000 words? Or have you set different goals for yourself?

Do you usually participate in NaNo in November?

If so, have you ever finished/polished/queried/submitted your NaNo novel?

Are you plotting for your July exercise, if you're involved in one? What kind of story are you writing?

July is sneaking up on us!

Plans Change

Planned to read a little and go to bed way early.

But, oldest son hopped in the shower.

Then youngest needed the bathroom.

Then daughter needed the bathroom.

Have I mentioned that it sucks being a one-bathroom family with four people???

Anyway, I wrote instead and I'm going to sleep now. This is still way earlier than I've been getting to bed. It wasn't until after 11:00 that I was able to start getting ready to sleep last night.

Still hot. 106 today. I wish I could shower tonight, but I'd just sweat all night and have to repeat shower in the morning anyway.

Looks like meeting my monthly word count goal is a long-shot. I'm very sad.
