The Birds Are Singing in the Dark

And have been for a while now.

I love to get up to birdsong. It somehow makes the day seem right even when work is involved. :)

Tomorrow, I'm off, and going to have lunch with a friend from old job location. That makes me happy.

Also going to breakfast, like I do on Saturdays. That'll be a nice way to start the day.

Today is going to be a LONG day. Sadly, I'm going to have to miss my online screenwriting class tonight, but I'll get a transcript of the session and be able to read everything said and get the query info.

Youngest has a concert tonight. It's the school district's end of the year concert and involves middle school and high school concert bands, high school jazz bands, handbells, and choirs from middle and high school.

Last year, they did a tribute to Andrew Lloyd Weber and it was AMAZING.

I'm not sure of the theme this year, but the concert is always wonderful.

I, however, probably won't be home until 9:00-9:30, and I'm not sure I'll be alive by then.

Very tired this morning. Kitty Kero woke me up last night hunting a spider. It was a BIG ass spider. Oldest son killed it and flushed it. It was BIG.

Dang, It's Late!

I got home late tonight. District music festival my youngest son was in and all. So, I was gone a total of...let's calculte...16-1/2 hours today. Geez, no wonder I'm tired.

AWESOME finale with all the groups together. Gave me goosebumps...like it always does.

(Of course--don't tell anyone we're this stupid, but--Terra (our Toyota Prius) lacked a couple of miles in turning over 74,500 on her odometer, so we did some extra driving around in the hills around Walnut to watch. Yes, yes, I know we're pathetic, but, heck, we enjoy it.)

I have words...on paper, though, so I haven't counted them. Will type them in tomorrow and make an update.

I also have ideas...tons and tons and....they keep breeding like rabbits. Brain just won't slow down!

Haven't had chance to tackle much of my FL from today, but will try to catch up on that tomorrow.

I'm off work tomorrow--HOORAY--and have something kinda scary to do. Everybody keep their fingers crossed for me, please? It involves doctors and you folks know how I feel about them!

But, I should sleep for now. LOTS to do tomorrow!
