Sometimes they don't.

What's up with that?

I blame it on being tired a lot.

At least things make sense a lot more of the time now...but I still see things better from a distance.

When I get close to them, I sometimes get flustered, even though I KNOW what I really need to do.

I'm thinking a bunch of deep breaths and some really decent peace and quiet away from the world time would do me some good.

But, at least I see things now that I didn't see before. And, they make sense. And, I know that I'm getting closer to being able to take those things I see/understand now and implement them.

They work in my brain. Now I just have to keep from getting flustered and make them work on paper.

(Yes, this is a writing discussion...editing/revising, actually...just a little abstract cause I'm kinda reasoning something out with myself.)

I already do two jobs here. Accounting and Human Resources. (Plus a few odds and ends.)

I have two interviews coming in today and one tomorrow.

I have labor cards I'm working on.

I have invoices and collections to take care of.

And, yet, I have to give up my lunch hour and spend an hour answering the phones because the back-up person took a vacation day today and the person answering them needs to go out for an hour.

Sigh.

I lose my lunch completely because I have a 1:00 appointment and she's taking the hour during lunch time. That will so screw up my blood sugar. Bleh.

Wasn't I just saying I needed some time off?

Word counts tonight.

I'll count and post tomorrow. Worked on Pawns of Destiny, Wildfire, All That Glitters, Shades of Distant Past, and Xanali Just kinda piddling until the weekend when I actually have semi-live brain cells and can really think to write.

Had a breakthrough, I think, though, on rewrite of Wildfire. I didn't think I'd started in the right place and I was right about that. Needed to start sooner. Hope this new beginning works.

Read a lot tonight. Windfall by [livejournal.com profile] rachelcaine. I loved it. Will probably finish it this weekend.

Gotta sleep.

Tomorrow's Friday. Hooray!

Tonight, can't keep eyes open any longer

Yawn.

Night all! Sleep good.
