Time to Stop...
May. 7th, 2005 10:11 pmI was supposed to stop at 1,000 words, cause I really need to rest. But, it's so hard to stop sometimes. So, I'm being good now. I stopped.
Going to sleep.
Last night, I was soooo tired that I didn't even write a LJ post. Hard day at work. I just left my word count from yesterday morning, cause it was what I ended up with anyway.
Today, I took my daughter shopping for a prom dress. I was a good mommy...I didn't look at price tags even though money has really been tight with work the way it is. I wanted her to get what she wanted.
I guess I was rewarded, cause her dress was on sale, and we made it out with a beautiful dress AND really nice shoes for only $150. :)
Now the prom tickets. Ouch!
We had a really nice lunch at Old Spaghetti Factory. Girls day out, I guess.
Tonight, I read through/proofread three chapters of a novel and a synopsis for someone on a writers list I belong to that had the great fortune of having them requested by an agent.
Tomorrow, I hope to do critiques/reviews. I need to get my Critter Ratio back up on Critters. I've already done a number of critiques this week, but I want to try to get a few more in, too. Also, reviews for OWW and QnI.
Did some brainstorming, made some notes, started some goals, all that kind of good stuff...this morning when I went out for my weekly breakfast. Hope to put them all into some kind of tangible, legible form tomorrow and post them. Brain is too tired to do it tonight.
No big plans for Mother's Day. I just like days I can stay home and read and write...and the kids usually cook for me, too. I don't like going out and fighting brunch crowds and the like.
