Ahhhh...Monday's Over

That's a good thing. Though I seriously loved the weather today.

Found out that the owner might shut down the facility next week to "make a point" to some of our customers. If he does, we're all off for a week with NO pay and we CAN'T take vacation.

However, if I can get my rent and car payment and a few other bills covered, I've decided that I might actually ENJOY the week off. I haven't had a vacation in many years and could really use some time to rest and relax and write. That would be cool.

I'm having this feeling of loss at having split up my HUGE novel into the three smaller components. I think it gave me a sense of accomplishment to watch it grow larger in spite of all the crap going on at work.

Hopefully, I'll adjust to the three smaller novels soon. For now, I'm going to use any of the three to accumulate my 1,000 word goal for the day.

Then, in a few days, when I'm re-plotted, I'm just going to work on Book 1, The Chosen Ones until it's finished.

But, for now...

Think of it as a stock split, where you end up with more dividends than before.

I'm starting to feel like they each have their own distinctive personalities, kinda like children. Maybe I'll be okay if they keep developing like that. :)
