While this is probably NOT a big deal to those of you who experience winter weather on a regular basis, it was 34 degrees when I left for work this morning.

That is NOT Southern California weather!

I hate this cold thing. Ice on the windows. Cold air blasting through the door and window cracks (SoCal: no such thing as tight fittings.) I feel like my limbs are freezing to rustedness every time I walk.

Argh. I want my Santa Anas!

You should see San Francisco. There was frost all over the garden this morning, and both outdoor cats had retreated to their respective emergency corners of our basement. When the weather's bad, they get into a sort of grudging detente.

Yeah... it's a bit nippy out these days. I'm actually using a blanket at night! Unheard of!!!
