Two Days and Counting

Just today and tomorrow left before FOUR DAYS OFF!!!

WOO-HOO!!!

I so need those days. I'm exhausted and need the time to read, write, and play video games. Looks like I won't even be cooking this year cause I had to use all my remaining funds on a new tire yesterday, so I can't even go out and buy the ham I wanted.

Oh, well, we'll get a ham for Christmas. :)

My plans are to finish my NaNo novel, Broken Mirrors this weekend, start City of Fallen Stars if there's time, work on a final pass of the screenplay that was requested and get it in the mail this weekend, and work on editing a section of a novel that was requested and get it into the mail this weekend too.

Other than that, I'm crashing...video games, reading, sleeping in (yeah, right, famous last words).

What are you folks doing this weekend? Anything other than eating? :)

I wish I had four days off... I have to work on Friday. Gotta get the paper out! I'll be going to Mom's for turkey day, and I have plans with friends to go hiking in the Berkshires on Saturday, so I will have *some* fun. :)

I'm going home for the weekend for the first time since August, and I've got plans to finish up a short story so I can submit it when I get back here. I foresee a lot of video games and reading in my future, too, though.

I'm taking off early tomorrow to go have the Big Ultrasound. Other than eating, we'll have a lazy Turkey Day since mom-in-law's there, then she'll go to her other brother's on Friday and we get to break the baby news to the rest of hubby's family.

So if all goes as planned, Sat and Sun will be Morrowind days. ;-)
