After the Excitement Comes Fear

queenoftheskiesI don't know why, but the day after I get a request for a partial or a screenplay or any kind of interest in my work, I shift from excitement to PANIC!
Don't get me wrong, I'm still excited, too, and the excitement will come back as soon as I print out the screenplay and take another proofreading, looking over it pass before I send it out. (Yes, I do that with EVERYTHING...just in case...no matter how many times it's been proofread and looked over.)
But, for now, I have that panic, too.
The panic is scary.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still excited, too, and the excitement will come back as soon as I print out the screenplay and take another proofreading, looking over it pass before I send it out. (Yes, I do that with EVERYTHING...just in case...no matter how many times it's been proofread and looked over.)
