I've thought about it, but don't remember if I asked it a long time ago or not.

I'm just curious...

When you send query letters, do you use letterhead or do you just format it in proper business format?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I just do business format. Letterhead always seems a little goofy.

I don't own letterhead, so I just format in proper business format.

If I had letterhead, I'd use it, but I've never had any particular reason to get some, so I just business-format it.

Business format sounds appropriate.

Proper business format. Letterhead might come across as pretentious. Besides, I want the agent/publisher to focus on the contents of my letter, and nothing else.
