Well, I got all the writing done today that I wanted to, but my brain came up with some new stuff I wasn't prepared for. I tried it out. Figured it wouldn't hurt. But, I haven't had time to re-read yet and see if I like it.

I am now on page 251, and I'm 61,706 words total. Whew. Over halfway there.

Veteran novelists tend to say--and this has usually proven true with me--that the writers who can actually get to the halfway point of a novel almost always finish it. (The point is that the ones who aren't really serious won't even get that far.)
