My Kitty Hides

Baby Malik is a big cat. Close to 20 pounds. (He's also several years old...but still my baby cause he's the youngest of my cats.)

He is, however, a big 'fraidy cat.

He just slunk into my closet to hide because he's afraid of the thunder.

Poor kitty!

Thunder? Are you getting a thunderstorm?

Mine passed last night with no rain, darn it. Right now we have a cloud cover. The temp is rather cool, but of course it's early yet.

I've been reading a lot about how these temps indicate the end of times, etc. I just think we're finally getting caught by global warming cycles.

Yup, my dog is twice his size and she hides when thunderstorms get too close. My stepfather swears he could use her to forcast the weather because she starts pacing nervously long before we humans can hear anything.

It's thundering right now. I'll bet she's cowering under the bed.
