The Beginning...and the End

It's just an observation that perhaps the nicest parts of any day are the beginning and the end.
Dawn and dusk.
Each has it's own kind of peaceful, serene beauty. Each is quiet, the sky tinged with color, the air fresh and cooler than the heat of the day.
I resist turning my lamp on as long as I can at night because I really enjoy sitting here in the near-dark, looking out my window to the last orange smeared across the sky.
Very beautiful.
