And, for that reason, I shall not rant. Not about today, tonight, or the week at work as a whole.

Let it suffice to say that lazy, crazy boss lady couldn't get her own work done and Big Boss said she couldn't go on vacation unless it got done.

I had to work ELEVEN HOURS today to help get her work done. Plus my commute. I was gone for...mmm...15 hours today...all work related.

I didn't pick my youngest up from school until almost 7:30...almost FIVE HOURS after he'd gotten out of school.

Sigh. Lazy, crazy boss lady couldn't understand why I felt bad about that and why it was a problem. She couldn't understand why he might worry and think I'd had a wreck either.

Why are people stupid?

One. More. Week.

And, she's going to be gone on vacation when I give my notice. :)

Yawn. I'm very tired. Everyone have a good evening.

There's also another accountant leaving. If he gives his two week notice on Monday (which he's considering), we'll both be gone when she gets back and she'll have only two clerks left.

Me too, but a small corner of me that I consciously reserve for honest pity goes out to those two poor saps clerks who'll have to bear the brunt of Evil Boss Lady's wrath.
