It's Raining, It's Pouring...

And, OMG, it's sooooo COOL!!!!!!!!!

I mean, this is not just a LITTLE rain. This is RAIN!!!!!!!

Awesome, I can't believe it, thumping on the roof of the building rain. Flood the streets and the storm drains rain. Dark and stormy sky outside rain.

The most AWESOME rain we've had in a long, LONG time!

And, I'm doubly impressed cause I've lived in California for so long. Miss my back east rain sometimes. Okay, lots of times.

However, I do NOT miss the snow. :)

Rain, loverly rain!

Me so jealous! I have grey clouds and like three anemic drops on my window. I want RAIN!

However, first I should go feed Benny so I don't have to slog out there through the mud.

Ewwwww....mud.

At least I don't really have to worry about that. Knee-deep water, yes, but not so much mud.

You do have awesome mud out there in Pahrump, but I'm honestly more impressed with the POTHOLES big enough to swallow my ENTIRE CAR that your rain causes.

Ain't the desert grand?

Yeah, knee deep mud is a lot less fun than knee deep water. Blarg.

I'm afraid to see what this rain does to Nye, since they never bothered to grade out the monster pothole from LAST time it rained.

Water is coming out of the sky here in Nevada too. Very strange. :)

At work, when it started to rain, everyone ran over to the windows to look out. One person, who ran over to look because everyone else was, wanted to know what we were looking at. "What is it?" she asked. "It's rain," I told her. "It's just been so long since you've seen it, that you don't recognize it."
