And kitty Kero, too.

The other night, the kitty awakened me bouncing on the bed beside my head. He was after another spider crawling down the wall. (I guess it's the time of year for them.)

My oldest was still up and he came to remove it so it wouldn't land on my head...and so the cat wouldn't either. :)

Ewwwwww!

On...Friday, I went to leave for work and I was near my garage. All of a sudden I looked down and there was this biiiiig (well, not BIG) black, hairy, tarantula looking spiders on my shirt! EWWWWWWWW! I freaked out. X.X

My bed room tends to get more spiders than my old room (my mother/sister's room now) did in the summer, which isn't going fun for me. x.x

*shudder* I only like big spiders when they're in a glass cage. Even then I keep my distance. *double shudder*

Yeah, eww. Props to your son. That's why I'm not totally for the removal of all males to their own island. They're good at spiders.

(My male has been known to come home from his work in response to an unintelligible gibbering phone call about a spider on my computer desk. Good male!)

I've had to deal with the spiders myself from way back.

My ex-husband didn't like spiders (so, naturally I'd chase him with spider suspended on a thread dangling from my hand. He screamed like a girl. *naughty grin*) so if the cats didn't eat the spiders I'd have to take care of them.

Since we moved into our current place (which is periodically spider infested) the cats have gone off spiders (OD?). There are some whacking great mutant spiders in this house too (only a few of those thank goodness) nearly the size of desert tarantulas. Makes me wonder if the previous tenants had a bug aquarium (can't remember the proper name for the bug cage) and had an escape problem resulting in a spider breeding program in the garage. Whacking great mutant spiders are just too much spider to be allowed. eeew.
