One Dream After Another
May. 30th, 2006 04:39 amOMG, I can't remember the last time I dreamed as much as I did last night. It was amazing, astounding...the good kind of dreams that make your sleep deep and restful and makes your brain wake up with a million ideas and the exciting, exhilerating feeling of being alive again. (Or, maybe almost alive, cause I did sleep a little late and I'm having trouble actually waking up.)
I had so many. No bad ones. All quite pleasant and intriguing.
THREE about characters from my novels, which is a surprise in and of itself. All revolving around the same basic theme, but from different POV's and with slightly different results.
The kinda cool part is that, while it didn't really mimic what I've been writing, the basic theme of the dreams was a result of what I'd been writing a few days ago.
Wow, brain's slow if it was just now picking up on it, huh?
I dreamed of having a house with FIVE bedrooms, too. Man, I could certainly live with that!
There were more, some I remember, some I can only see snatches of.
But, the results are positive. Usually, nights like that help some with recharging my dying brain cells.
If only I had a few more days off work, I might be a real person again. :)
At least this reassures me that my brain probably CAN be recharged and isn't a lost cause after all.
Do you folks ever have dream nights like that?
What was the last really GREAT dream you had?
