Good Things Are (Hopefully) in the Making

Cracked open MMS2K (Movie Magic Screewriter 2000, my screenwriting software of choice) tonight to start The Magic Cauldron. Didn't get much done. Too tired. Not enough sleep last night. Too much driving today. Too much work stuff.

Well, two more days and then I get a day off. Then one day of work after that until the long weekend. HOORAY!

Sci Fi Channel is having a Godzilla/monster movie marathon on Friday, to make things even better. My daughter is going to record it for me while I work and I can watch it over the weekend. I'm a sucker for Godzilla movies.

Working on self-confidence and being positive. Working on plotting...in head. Only time to scribble a few notes on actual paper.

More time on Thursday when I'm off work.

Right now, I'm going to work on sleeping. Very tired.

I have Final Draft, too. I won a copy in a screenwriting contest. But, MMS2K is still my software of preference. I like it much better than Final Draft.

Always wonderful to find another Gojira fan in the world.

My wife doesn't understand my fascination with the big green guy, but I did note for Christmas two years ago, she got me the Ty Japanese Gozilla, Mothra and King Ghydra as well as the American Godzilla beanie babies. They occupy a place of honor on my desk at work (to the amusement of my co-workers).

What's not to love about a guy running around in a big rubber suit?

Hooray! Another fan! I've always loved Gojira...for as long as I can remember.

Ty made beanie babies of the monsters??? Oooooh. I never knew that.

Have you seen the more recent Mothra movies with the three fairies and some actual storyline? Some of those are going to be on this weekend too.

I also like Gamera. They don't give him enough air time, in my opinion.

Hubby is A) bummed that he's not going to be around Saturday but B)stoked that we now have DVR, so he can tape them all, even though he has most of them on DVD. :)
