Hip - Hip - HOORAY!

The week is downhill from here.

Yesterday, I had the second interview with the company I spoke with last week. I expect to get a NO today.

Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of experience. I even have experience that they're looking for. HOWEVER...they have several candidates that have been doing that type of work CURRENTLY for a longer period of time. Meaning that they might have been doing cost accounting ONLY for the past 5 years, whereas I have financial accounting/controllership mixed in that time period, too.

I have TONS of cost accounting experience and am doing some now at current job. But, once again, mixed with financial accounting, so...

It's okay.

The agency thinks they have another position that might be a better match that they can send me on an intervie for within the next week.

In the meantime, I drive. :)

At least I have a job, and I am thankful for that.

Hey, you never know. They may just prefer someone with less experience, so they can train them their way and not get someone else's bad habits. :)
