I have a membership to Writers' Weekend, in June, that I am unable to use.

I'd like to give it to someone who would be able to go.

First come, first served, BUT...

All I ask is that if you ask for it, you're sure you can go, please.

I want to make sure that it's used.

So, if you want it, ask. First person to comment with a request for it, gets it.

I'm extremely sad that I can't go.

I had everything planned until my work transferred me to another office. One of the first things my boss told me was that she was taking off two weeks in June and that I had to cover for her.

Sniffle.

I was very sad.

Then, I was going to Butchercon, but...alas...it was cancelled.

I don't know what to aim for next. :)

I'm so sorry you won't be able to go.

To make it up to you, the universe will simply have to respond to your job search by getting you into a job you enjoy, that's near your home, and that pays you well, so that you can come out to Jersey for Writer's Weekend 2007.
