Chocolate Milk
May. 8th, 2006 07:41 pmMmmmmm.
(No sugar added, of course.)
I'm trying to revive dead brain cells. Chocolate milk helps. Actually, it's probably the CHOCOLATE that helps. :)
You see, I'm trying to allocate time to several projects and also trying to decide how to approach them.
1. Writing - the first is daily writing. I need to do some more plotting and planning on my current novel.
2. Screenwriting - I have the opportunity to pitch to three different production companies. One will take 5 pitches. Two will take 3 each. I have to decide what to pitch and I think I want to update three of the screenplays. Maybe 4. Much easier to do than editing novels.
3. Editing/Revising/Rewriting - I have a 974 page novel that I need to split into multiple novels and revise. I can see several possible novels I can make out of this one. I just have to decide what will best serve the stories I'm telling.
And, of course, the huge problems are getting the peace and quiet and the time to do it...with my now even more hectic schedule.

Date: 2006-05-09 03:38 am (UTC)I'm pitching via query letter, though. Guaranteed reads. Those are great. When I used to pitch regularly (it's been a couple of years, I admit), I had some really great response.
It's through Screenwriters Online. Are you familiar with them? I almost sold a screenplay through a pitch I got through them 2-3 years ago.

I'm looking forward to reading your novel. I'm taking my birthday off and hope to read then...if not sooner.

How are things with you?
