This week seemed faster than the last few, thank heavens.

Could be because I had the unscheduled day off yesterday.

Could be because there was no rain, which really snarls the long drive up LOTS.

I'm glad it's Friday, though. I haven't been feeling well this week and was up last night with not feeling well, so I think a trip to the scary doctor might be in order.

This weekend, I'm going shopping, then I'm going out, then I'm staying in, as is my wont. If anything exciting comes up on Sunday, though, I'll probably go :P

I did, thanks :) I bought two lovely strappy tops with embroidery at the decollotage and which flare our from the waist to cope with a body shape where the hip to waist ratio is quite large! I was so impressed I bought one in black and one in bright pink.

How's it going?

I'm up that early every weekday, sadly. I have to leave home around 5:20 in order to get to work by 7:00.

We'll probably do yardwork tonight. ChiaPet's been talking about mowing the lawn for a week now. And I'd like to get started on one of my big gardening projects -- moving my hostas from my Bird Garden and using them to complete a border around some landscaping we had professionally done last year. I work on Saturday morning, but we'll probably spend Saturday afternoon doing yardwork, or with friends (possibly doing yardwork at their house LOL). Then Sunday, I think I have a lunch date with friends, and afterwards, I'm planning to make a big Chinese dinner for some other friends. Which reminds me, I need to get some things together for said dinner...

That sounds like fun. I know gardening is a lot of work, but it's so rewarding and it's nice to be outside.

I moved my Hostas on Friday (I posted a photo in my LJ if you want to have a look-see!) and I'm glad I did, because today has been UGLY and cold and rainy, and tomorrow doesn't seem to be shaping up to be much better. On the other hand, I'm glad it's raining too, because that's good for the plants I just moved! Tomorrow's dinner will be home made Hot & Sour soup, Beef with Broccoli, Cream Cheese Wontons, and out-of-the-box egg rolls. (I've made home made egg rolls before, but didn't feel like making them myself this time.) My stomach is growling just thinking about it!

AVALON! Going to Catalina (aka devinharris's VERY FAVORITEST PLACE IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD..... NOT!) on a day trip tomorrow. Sunday, I get ready for my week o' trips. Monday - Wednesday, in San Diego. Thursday - Sunday, visiting someone you just might know in Pahrump. ;)

Have fun in San Diego and Pahrump. I'm probably going to visit Dev in May. I wanted to go for my birthday and go into Vegas and Red Rock, but since it's right before Memorial Day weekend, I'm not sure I'll brave the traffic.

Watch out on your way back from Pahrump on Sunday. The traffic is often bumper to bumper if you don't get a real early start.

Last night, I pretty much crashed, so I really didn't get anything written.

Today, I'm working on trying to get things kinda back to normal. I hope that will happen and that I'll have many words soon.

I went through some free-writing I'd done with some of my novel characters and considered posting it on my LJ, but I think folks would laugh at my ideas and sneer at my writing, you know? It's very rough.

My weekend consists mostly of pet-sitting for my mom, who is visiting my brother and his two boys. She's got quite a menagerie, with a dog, fish and birds, so I've got my hands full.

But in my free time, I want to write. :-)

I will be celebrating Beltane this weekend! Dancing the maypole, dressing in festive clothing, and drinking strawberry punch. :)

I'm right there with you on the TGIF. It was a tough week for me, and next week promises (threatens?) to be even tougher.

So I will celebrate with gusto tomorrow. :)
