Final Fantasy Advent Children - English Version

I was seriously worried that the voices and translation for the English version would be lacking compared to the Japanese version, but...

I am totally, wonderfully pleased with the English version.

Translation is GREAT.

Voices are marvelous. And, the inflections that were missing in the Japanese version add a lot to the English version.

I'm still quite fond of the Japanese version, but I'm loving watching this new one, too.

I was a little annoyed that Barret sounded like he was being played by Mr. T, and Cait Sith's accent was out of left field. And can you even IDENTIFY Cid's accent? 'Cause I sure couldn't.

That said, Vincent's voice makes up for ALL the voice casting sins. Rowr. ::licks Vincent::

Cid's sounds a little country-western to me, but I thought it fit him.

I've been told by numerous peoples that I'd really enjoy this. I think it's going to be a purchase in the near future.

All of the extras are from the Japanese verion, but they're subtitled and very enjoyable.

There's a making off, cut scenes, and a montage from the game and also from some end scenes of the movie.

I HIGHLY recommend it.
