Early Good Night

Well, I'm off to recycle cans. Yes, I'm going to do it this late. I need a few bucks to tide me over until payday, which is still a day or two off. (Could get check tomorrow, but not 100% sure.)

So, good night to one and all.

For today, I've made a kind of peace with my writing. Maybe it was cathellisen who inspired me with her determination to write and not judge. Thanks!

Whatever it was, I read back over part of what I had written on this novel and found myself strangely pleased. So, I continued to plod onwards. Really, what else is there to do?

Oh I'm so glad to hear that you were pleased with what you wrote. It gives you a warm feeling inside to read your own work and think "Wow. I actually Like this."

We writers need to post about the good side of writing as often as we seem to post on the negative. It seems to be a spur. I know when I read something like horace_hamster talking about the perseverance needed to get a sale, it makes me ready to handle the inevitable rejections.
