Why Can't Every Day Be Like Today???
Apr. 8th, 2006 01:51 pmToday is most beautiful. Sunny with some puffy, white clouds. A wonderful breeze. It's probably around 70 degrees.
It's quiet around here. Kitties are cuddly.
I went out to breakfast, made novel notes, then indulged myself at the bookstore.
Took younger two kids to the high school for 6 hours of play practice. (Daughter isn't a student any more, but is getting paid to do lights and sound for them...she knew how cause she was in drama in high school.)
Took older son to Frank & Sons, a HUGE San Gabriel Valley indoor swap meet for collectibles, anime, movies, comics, any possible thing you can think of. We bought CCG decks and booster packs. I got a new card box that's GORGEOUS.
Came home and sleeved cards from my two decks.
Have to go pick up other two kids in an hour and hit the grocery store, but it's nice to just relax right now.
I have writing to do later. Lots of stuff I want to get down. Did some by hand at breakfast this morning with one of my lovely colored pens that my older son gave me. (A set...wonderful colors. I color code EVERYTHING.)
New ideas. New insights. Amazing what brain wants to do when it has food to work with.
Kitty Kero meows. "Hold me, Mommy. You spent a long time holding Malik. Now it's MY time."
