Pleasant Surprise

Last night, in the pouring rain, I didn't stop at the mail box to get the mail.

When I picked it up this morning, I had a really nice surprise.

The Superintendent of Schools for the district my youngest attends (and my oldest two did, too) sent me a hand-written note thanking me for sending my children to their district and telling me how much they meant to the schools there. (My kids have always been involved in EVERYTHING.)

I was so flabbergasted.

I thought that was extremely nice.

How cool. It's so neat when other people notice that your kids are wonderful. :-)
