And, Spring is here. Finally. Even though it was only 62 degrees a couple of days ago.

Know how I know?

Not because it was 82 today.

But, because....

I smelled ORANGE BLOSSOMS today!!!!

I adore orange blossoms!!! They're heavenly.

Do you have a lot up your direction? Remember when there used to be so many orange groves in Ventura County? Simi Valley used to be one big grove.

oh, yeah, we're surrounded by them! I love it! Simi isn't quite a big grove anymore, but there's still whole groves right in the middle of Ventura. (It's because of the Save Our Agricultural Resources initiative)

Pear trees have white blossoms? I seem to remember that from living in Nashville. An amazing number of fruit trees have white blossoms. Oh, but, peach are pink, aren't they? I'm not sure.

Orange trees have beautiful white blossoms, and OMG, they smell like heaven. The only thing that even compares in fragrance, I think, is star jasmine. It's heavenly, too.
