Thank you to all you kind folks who offered support today and who listened to me rant. I feel much better for having gotten that off my chest. I guess there's still a lot of frustration left and I feel very tired and drained emotionally.

I hope the drained emotionally part will go away soon. I'd really like to get back to writing, but I need some emotions to be able to do that. :)

BIG, HUGE thanks to rgbrobbie for her message of hope and for taking a resume to her employer for me. I want everybody to know how wonderful you are and how much this helps. Whether or not I actually get the job, it means a lot to me that someone cared enough to offer.

Also, thanks to greatsword for telling me about a soCal position, too.

You folks are all great and really know how to help out a person in need.

That's too kind of you to thank me in public. But... thank you for thanking me.

The resume and cover letter are in Aisha's hands, and she and I briefly went over them. The electronic copies have been sent to her as of a few minutes ago, and she'll be forwarding them to OFA for further consideration.
