On the Right Track?
Mar. 18th, 2006 07:30 pmMaybe. I think so.
In fact, I wrote a HUGELY long LJ post about it earlier today. Around noon. But, once I read back through it, I decided it was probably just for myself and too much to subject my FL, too, as it went into a lot of detail about how I wrote, details of my universe, and working to find the proper starting point from which to market that universe.
For now, I'm working on taking one manuscript and splitting it into two proper stories, polishing them, and seeing what comes of it.
Right now, the main problem I'm having is getting back into the habit of trusting myself and going with the flow.
I know what I want to use for the beginning. It's something I'd cut out before and was going to put into another novel, but it belongs in the first book.
I think I need to just put it in, stop stalling, and revise it after I get the two split.

Date: 2006-03-19 04:11 am (UTC)this part, at least, i would love to hear about! i love hearing about The (ha!) Writing Process for other people. everyone finds something different that works for them, it's fun to compare. :)
the other stuff too, maybe someday if you want to share it. you could always put it behind a cut so if you're afraid it's too long other folks could skip it.
