Is The Weekend Over Already???

Sheesh! Where do they go? Wherever it is, I wish there was a way to slow it down.

Yesterday, I spent much of the day out or reading or playing video games or watching TV.

My oldest son took me to lunch after I took him to open bank accounts. Then, I started a game of Dragon Warrior VIII when I got home. I'd purchased the game as a reward for myself when I finished Out of the Darkness in January. Read part of a writing book. Watched Final Fantasy Advent Children with my daughter last night.

Today, I spent the morning writing. Then, I played more on my game of Dragon Warrior VIII. My daughter and I went out to two grocery stores and to Target. BAD experiences all around. Hence my earlier, unhappy, post.

I settled back down to write more tonight. My daughter fixed quesadillas with Ranchero cheese, on yellow corn tortillas, for dinner. They were yummy. Watched Sci Fi Channel for a while. They had more stupid crap on.

Wrote more.

Wrote some more.

Wrote on something else.

Watching the anime Descendants of Darkness with my daughter now on AZN TV.

I need to sleep.

Was gonna be my question also...I'm used to being spoiled with hubby's job counting most holidays.

Can't you go to your boss and say that dead presidents *demand* that you have the day off? If you tell them the presidents have spoken to you personally on this, you might get months and months off! ;D

The Descendants of Darkness manga is even better than the anime. The first six volumes are really funny and then the story takes a deeper and slightly darker tone (I've read up to v.9). The anime really condensed the story a lot.

I think it's terrific that you're so close with your kids. That's awesome.
