But, I'm watching The Day the Earth Stood Still on AMC, and couldn't sleep without seeing the end. I'm such a sucker for old sci-fi movies. I just love them.

20 more mintutes until sleep.

Kinda productive today.

Did a little writing.

More writing in earnest after I rest tomorrow.

That is one of the classic films of all time, not just of SF.

Notice the esteem in which the scientific community was held at the time. Notice that now, that has been lost. However, the "shoot first" mentality is still with us. (sigh) Klaatu barada Nikto, Gort.
