Today, I Am Smart
Jan. 17th, 2006 05:50 amOr, at least smarter than yesterday.
I'm having a bowl of Irish oatmeal before I leave for work. Then, I'm taking something small to have at work with my meds.
This way, no sick today.

Funny how it's so hard to be smart about things like that some days, huh?

Date: 2006-01-17 02:09 pm (UTC)Now, I try really hard to be good. I'm not a health nut or anything, but I try to reach for something good, when I can and, of course, eat only things with sugar substitute.
But, I understand what you mean about just having to grab something. Understand it lots.
Yeah, some days, it's hard to remember the important things. Why do you think that is?

texture-wise they're more crunchy, kindof as if they have loads of chopped-up walnuts in them. flavor-wise they're nutty because they're that much closer to the whole grain.

Date: 2006-01-17 01:59 pm (UTC)For me, the big one lately is remembering to drink water. I feel nasty enough these days without additionally feeling dehydrated, and how hard is it to get a glass of water? And yet I forget.

It's hard to remember to drink water when you're busy. It's hard to remember, in fact, unless you're actually thirsty. Have you tried keeping a bottle of water in sight all the time?
