Not Quite...But Closer

I got quite a bit accomplished on my novel today. Didn't finish, but that's okay. I'm pleased with the progress and will finish soon.

Going to up my word count estimate to 145,000 words. Close to finished.

Hi! ::waves::

I'm thrilled to be almost finished. I'd planned on finishing today, but decided not to kill myself over it. What's another day or two, right? I'd rather ENJOY the finishing part than just be finished. I think that's why I experience such a feeling of LOSS after I finish novels. Because the last few days, I push and push and crank out words and then...I'm done. And, there's a let down.

This time, I want it to be a natural transition from one book to the next since the next one I'm working on falls right after this one in the grand scheme of things. Well, there's a time gap, but the next one is based on this one.

I did get some rest. The movies were great. I LOVED Spielberg's War of the Worlds and enjoy Fantastic Four every time I see it.

I'm even going to try to get into bed at a decent time for once!
