I Hope Having a Week Off Prepared Me For This

Cause today is INSANE.

Everyone expects me to solve all the problems...though it's not as bad as it was under the old company, thank heavens.

The problem is NOT that I can't solve them given a reasonable amount of time.

The problem is that everyone messed up SOMETHING while I was away for training the four days before the holidays and EVERYONE wants THEIR problem fixed NOW.

Another problem is that several of the people are anxiety-ridden personalities, so they're moaning and jumping up and down and all freaked out.

But, there's only one of me and I can only do so much.

I want to ask them why they just didn't do things right the first time around, you know?

Eep, those anxiety types are so hard to deal with. You just want to smack them and tell them to sit down and be quiet til you come over. hehe I hope things calm down soon...

Can you get one of those ticket machines you get at deli counters (well, in the Uk, I don't know about in the US), then everyone could have a ticket with a number on and the moral imperative to wait politely in a queue would be forced upon them! I have just realised this is a terribly English solution...
