Date: 2006-01-02 01:59 pm (UTC)I've been to the workshop at Dillo Con twice. It's worth the time, for the smart feedback from pro teachers and your fellow writers, since you submit 5k words in advance and then discuss one another's work throughout the day.

Date: 2006-01-03 05:37 am (UTC)That sounds like it's a great con to attend. I'm going to put that on my priority list!

That's something I want to do, too. I don't know what the chances are of me going to one that isn't very close by, though. I haven't had my license long enough that my parents would let me drive out of state. So far I've only driven to the town that my school is in one time by myself. -_- I really, really want to go to one, though.

Date: 2006-01-02 07:16 am (UTC)Wouldn't it be great to meet a bunch of folks at one of these conferences? I'd love to get the chance to learn and hobnob with other writers both!

Date: 2006-01-03 05:53 am (UTC)And yeah, it really has been almost 5 years or so. Time flies, huh? But it's been nothing short of terrific getting to know you and watching you grow and evolve, Miss J.
Quill's 5 year anniversary is this year... Time most definitely flies.

Thanks. It's been great watching you grow, too, and getting to know you as a friend. I count myself very luck in that respect.
Quill's 5 year anniversary is this year...
So, any special celebrations planned?

Nothing as of yet, but we still have a few months. Y'never know. :-)
