Happy Monday Morning!!!

It's a short week for most of us who live in the States. Just a few more days and we'll be living the fat life, stuffing ourselves on Thanksgiving dinner, enjoying a FOUR DAY weekend...enjoying the holiday rush if you're so inclined (personally, I HIDE the day after Thanksgiving!)...and writing our hearts out...for those of us given to that kind of thing.

So, what's up with everybody? What have I missed? How's everybody doing?

And, what's everybody writing? Any new story developments? Word counts? What's everybody up to? Anybody want to share?

Maybe I'll share my past few days later. Maybe not. I'm still a bit...ouchy...emotionally. But, this too, shall pass.

I've missed you all...I really have...and I've only been gone a few days. Geez...what kind of withdrawal would I have gone through if it had been any longer???

Good to have you back!

My double-Nano is stalled at 35,000 words... here comes another last-minute push. :)

Short, but not that short for me. Off Wednesday because I'm working on Saturday. Off Thursday for the holiday, back to work on Friday. My weekend, as the last one, will consist of Sunday, when I plan to sleep. Wednesday will be cleaning day because hubby will be at work. At least I get a 2-day weekend in the middle of the week. :)

Good to see you back, even if you do seem awfully cheery. heh

Welcome back!

I totally understand offline withdrawal -- I go through it every weekend. I'm tempted to either get a phone line or a wireless card. Maybe that'll be my reward if I make 50k this month.

Good morning. Nice to have you back.

However, many of us do not have a four-day weekend. And I thank you for holing up the day after Thanksgiving, and not adding to the mentality that requires me to work a 12 hour shift that day.

I grieve for the writing that won't happen that day.

I'm spending the holiday driving 300 miles over icy roads. There will be No Writing, but at least my mom makes good turkey.

My good writing news is a finished first draft. It's a sh*tty first draft, like they all are, but it's done!

Welcome back and good morning back at you. :-)
Committed much writing on Friday night and Saturday. Went to see Walk the Line on Sunday -- a powerful story.
Glad you seem cheerful today. I always feel that way about Mondays -- probably because I have them off. :-)

Morning- welcome back! We already had Turkey day here which was really yummy. I won't have to cook all week, yippy! I love having our celebration on a different day-- it takes some of the stress out of it- no crazy roads crowded with people, no mad dashes to the store only to find that someone grabbed the last bag of rolls just before your fingers touched them, no crazy people watching the football game driving you nuts... Ahhhh, much better! :)

I hope you enjoy your Turkey day as much as I did. Now I get 4 days to devote to nothing but writing!

I'm right there with you when it comes to withdrawal... more than a day away, and I start to get the shakes. ;-)

Sadly, you missed very, very little as far as I am concerned. :-/

Let's see...finally finished a short story on Saturday, the first one finished in--well, weeks, but it felt like longer. :) Next story is an alternate history of Stonewall Jackson. Still waiting to hear more from agent about Farmer collaboration. Saw HPatGoF Saturday night after finishing aforementioned short story. Have Wednesday off, more writing time. :D

How about you?

Is it me or did that four da holiday pass by FAR too quickly? *sigh*

Sorry that you're still a bit emotionally ouchie... I'm not sure what happened, but I hope that you're doing better.

It passed WAY too quickly. Way. Did you have a nice Thanksgiving? I hope it wasn't as unpleasant as your last LJ entry made it sound like it might be. I tried to comment and offer you a shoulder, but your LJ wouldn't let me comment.

I'm trying to do better. Does that count?

I've heard that the LJ site has been having some difficulties... perhaps that's why you couldn't comment?

Turkey Day wasn't too bad, actually. Though, I had to go visit a friend in the hospital that night, so it cast a bit of a dark cloud over the day for me.

And if you're trying to do better, it does count. It's a start. Just keep on, keepin' on.

And if you want/need a sounding board, as always, I am here.
