I was so beat last night that I fell into bed. But, it was already after 11:00, and my stupid brain was still so busy from writing that it wouldn't go to sleep. Bah! Bad brain!

So, I'm tired this morning, but definitely more excited.

I had to open Dawn of Destiny this morning and look at it just to make sure I really finished it last night and didn't dream it. :)

Yep, it was finished. How exciting!!!

I'm going to do the happy dance now!

The question is what to work on for one week, until NaNoWriMo starts. I still have plotting to do, and I shall work on that, but I must have something to write on as well.

I considered a short story I abandoned a few weeks ago, and might work on that some.

But, I think I'm going to work a little on Gateway to Eternity, which is the second book in the trilogy (following Dawn of Destiny), too. I have a couple of scenes in mind where Lilli goes to rescue Ayana and where she tries to close the gateway to Eternity again. So, maybe I'll get those scribbled out so I can finish up Gateway to Eternity in December. It only needs about 30,000 more words to be complete, unless I end up changing it around some.

I guess, technically, I could try to finish it in a week. It's not impossible, but I think I need to recharge my brain cells for NaNoWriMo.

Whew. Brain is still tired this morning. But, very, very HAPPY.

Goodness. I'm amazed by you folks who just keep on chuggin' away. After writing a novel, I'm beat, and can't even think about writing anything else for a while.

Good for you though.

:-)

Using those pointy parentheses found on the comma and period keys that I have to leave off to show you, (evil lj did weird wrong things when I tried to show you by substitutind another kind of parentheses) :

marquee font color=red b Congratulations /b /font /marquee

marquee, font color=red, b all get their own pointy parentheses things

and make sure you close them all up in the same order you started them. Like Algebra, inside to outside. :)

Hopefully that makes sense!

Congratulations on finishing your novel!! That must be such a great feeling.
I'm not doing NaNoMO but I'm doing a variation on it, which is to finish my novel by the end of this year. I'd love to do NaNoMo but I think that would be like jumping off a cliff right now, so I'm settling for the end of this year. Good luck with it next month. Hope you summon all your writing energy!
