Jury Duty Rots the Brain

I feel totally exhausted, both physically and mentally. Don't want to write. Well, I do in theory. Don't feel like it physically. Wrote some this morning and don't even want to look at it.

Want to collapse somewhere.

LONG day. Very.

Have to go back tomorrow.

Plant manager sent me a snippy e-mail about it even though I've been telling him for a month that I had it this week and reminded him every day this week that I could get called at any time.

Sheesh. Sometimes, people suck.

Good thing he's not my direct boss, but it still makes me feel bad when he gets snippy. :(

Had Mongolian BBQ for dinner. Yummmmmm.

Reading your journal is a fascinating journey into another culture. Problems with getting meds precriptions, jury duty...Snippy bosses are everywhere unfortunately, though. :(

He souldn't get snippy about something like that. I don't know if it's the same, but in the UK you have to attend by law unless you have a really good excuse (like being dead).

Just FYI - don't know your company policy - but in Cali, you don't have to go to jury duty if your company doesn't pay you for lost time.

Filled out a few of those letters and forms in my time for employees who didn't want jury duty...
