queenoftheskiesI see in the credits to Phantoms that Dean Koontz actually wrote the screenplay to the movie. Interesting. I'd never noticed that before.
Perhaps I'm just remembering the book differently because I read it sooooooo long ago, but the movie did not have the same effect on me that the book did.
Having written screenplays and studied adaptation a little, I certain know that you generally have to change things for the visual effect and also you have to change/condense the story for the big screen, but this just didn't have the same effect on me that the book did.
