Yay Friday!

The boyfriend is coming over this weekend, and he is bringing work with him (he's an editor for a magazine), so he will be distracted for a few hours with his editing, and I can work on mine.

And yes, we've planned it this way ;)

I am so excited! What do you mean...do you have any plans? My weekends are always devoted to Stu, my lover. Actually, Stu is the name of my PC. I spend more time with him than my poor, lonely husband!

Unfortunaely, my writing plans consist of papers for class. I'm starting to get a little resentful of the fact that, just as I'm starting make a few sales, I can't write fiction anymore because of College. At the end of the semester I'm going to reasses the situation.

I don't have weekends. I do have today off, and I have lots of little things floating around for several different books. My only plan is to get as much of it down as possible.

Weekends are for dance (I'm a belly dancer), and for outings with the tot.

Yay, Friday!

Me, I'm in proposal hell for the weekend. Have to try to get at least 5 tie-in novel proposals finished up to be sent over to the U.K. beyond as soon as humanly possible. Between that and finishing up my second 30 page writing sample for them, it's going to be a busy weekend. :)

I agree with the others, you do seem chipper. That's good to see and I hope it means you have fun plans yourself. :)

I'm organising (with a lot of competant help) two stalls at freshers fayre tomorrow, then I'm doing more work. I'd like to have time to write though. *le sigh*

Well, I'm working tomorrow (Saturday). I expect to sleep in a bit on Sunday, clean up in the den some more, maybe do some writing related projects, watch some TV, and hope to catch a glimpse of the sun. Rumor is it will be on view.

The weekend is here? Already?

My big plan for today is to visit a friend in the psych ward. Other plans revolve around working this weekend. It should be relatively easy work though, non-brain-numbing and shouldn't take exceedingly long to do either, so it's not like a weekend-ruiner.

We're invited to a small casual Thing at someone's house (likely to go) and a bigger Thing at someone else's house (not likely to make it, but we can hope). That's tomorrow. Sunday we're hoping to walk the small dog by Lake of the Isles while it's still nice out.

As for work, I'm going to continue novel revisions and hope that I can do a short story soon, but I'm not betting on it.

Saturday: Deadline for LinkOnline (email writing group). I'll probably be finishing up critiques and other comments.

And then I look at writing projects. The short story I'd been focusing on has turned out to be Chapter 1, and I have only the vaguest idea what happens later. However, the novel I was stalled on is in motion again....

This is my non-writing weekend, because hopefully I will be moving to a new apartment. But I'm planning on taking Tuesday off, and I might take a break from the unpacking when I find the box that my hammock is in, string it up from the porch railing, and make it my new Official Writing Spot.
