At LONG Last!!!

queenoftheskiesI might be getting insurance shortly!!!
Last Thursday or Friday, I was bemoaning the fact of no insurance to one of the guys who transferred up here from the other office and he was surprised. He kept insisting we had insurance and another employee verified that they'd checked too, and we had none.
Lo and behold, this guy took the problem to someone higher up, who then proceeded to make it a priority and light a fire under Human Resources today!!!
WOO-HOO!
She's got calls in to Blue Shield, who is checking on the matter and she's hoping to have ID numbers faxed to me for everyone by this afternoon or tomorrow, so I can distribute them.
Then, even if they don't find us on the system, they have the group number and ID number and can still process us.
And, I can file a claim form with Blue Shield for all the money I already had to shell out of my own pocket. (I just hope it doesn't take forever for the claim to be processed.)
And, of course, I'd just rescheduled the doctor's appointment I had for today. :)
At least they had one available for next Tuesday, so I'll get in to get my refill prescriptions with one day to spare.
Talk about sliding in under the wire. :)
