I've lost more weight. Not like a drastic amount. Three more pounds. But, this is in one week's time.

I'm THRILLED to have lost weight, but I'm going to keep an eye on the loss to see if it's happening too quickly.

However, here's what I'm wondering.

I used to grab fast food breakfast in the morning and fast food for lunch a lot of the time.

Now, I eat a bowl of cereal or some toast or something here at home, have a big stick pretzel for break (they have a HUGE bucket of them at Staples for $3.99...best pretzels I've ever had), and then I take my lunch so I can write. And, I am admitedly having smaller portions in addition to it NOT being fast food.

Could that constitute two pounds per week weight loss? I just started noticing it. I just started eating at home and taking lunch a few weeks ago.

I have not been my current weight in about...oh...8 or 9 years, maybe, and am totally thrilled. Wondering if it would help even more if I was able to walk again every day.

If I could just lose 16 more pounds by the end of the year, I'd jump up and down and cheer on New Year's Day. :)

But, is that too much, too fast? If I'm eating regularly, but just changed what I eat and adjusted the portions a bit?

It's something to think about.

Since I was sick, I didn't write much yesterday. Also didn't post my word count, so I'm going to do that now.

Today, I'm not sure how much better I feel, but ears might be a little better. However, I have a whole new set of aches and pains. Isn't that odd?

I'm still taking a partial to edit and going to breakfast. Brain is working on something for my NaNo project that will interface with the ending of this story I'm working on now, so I want to get it out and let it work while it's actively cranking out ideas.

Oh, I also made some additions to screenplay yesterday and did a little smoothing out. I might have a chance to get notes on it, so I'm trying to take another look at the entire thing this weekend.

Step right up and get your laugh for the day.

I'm formatting novel manuscripts.

When I write, I format for my own ease. Now that I have a partial going out into the world, I figured I'd reformat everything and just work in the correct format from now on.

Here's stupid question #1:

When you swap italics for underline, do you underline each word individually in a sentence? Or the entire sentence (including punctuation) with one line? (The latter is what I'm inclined to do, but I figured I should ask since LJ knows EVERYTHING!)

Stupid question #2:

One, or two? I see this debate periodically. One space between sentences? Or two? Those of you who have submitted, what did you do?

Thanks!
