Happy, Happy Friday...

To one and all!!!

How's everybody doing today???

It's Friday! HOORAY!

And, I don't have to work tomorrow, so I'm thrilled. Going to read (other people's work that I've promised to read), write, write, and WRITE!!!

Oh, and sweat...it's supposed to be over 100 all weekend.

And, of course, I'll work on my assignment for Monday night class.

Class is WONDERFUL. A very positive experience.

Rewrote a couple of pages of the beginning of A Million Shades of Light, and was very pleased. Rarely do I get things out the way I want them the first time, but it popped into my head, I wrote it, and I think there's hope for it.

That's a nice feeling. :)

The Beginning...and the End

Bet you thought this was going to be some kind of deep, meaningful post, but it's not.

It's just an observation that perhaps the nicest parts of any day are the beginning and the end.

Dawn and dusk.

Each has it's own kind of peaceful, serene beauty. Each is quiet, the sky tinged with color, the air fresh and cooler than the heat of the day.

I resist turning my lamp on as long as I can at night because I really enjoy sitting here in the near-dark, looking out my window to the last orange smeared across the sky.
