Is anyone else NOT getting LJ comments again?

I just happened to discover this morning, that there were comments not e-mailed to me.

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Is anyone as happy to see it come as I am?

For me, Friday is that jumping off point to the oasis that is known as the weekend. It's all I can do to get from one to another these days, and I consider myself lucky to have survived another week when it's all over.

What's everybody got going for the weekend?

What's everybody writing on? Any big news? Any progress?

Tonight, my youngest son has ROTC pass and review. I'm hoping to get there in time to see the end of it. Friday night traffic is always bad.

Tomorrow, I have to take him to school for rehearsal for his friends' play.

Other than that, I hope to gather my writer's wits about me and get some work done.

Need to do more planning too.

I'm much more capable of forming coherent and cohesive thoughts in the morning hours, but don't even have the ability to write anything down at work at the new job location. Crazy boss watches us to make sure we can't take a breath without her knowing.

By the time I get home, brain cells have died for the day and I'm generally very unhappy with whatever I produce.

Well, off to work. Everyone have a great day!

Our beautiful evening with all of you.

We've had fog (mostly high fog) every morning recently. It starts rolling in fairly early in the evening, even though we're in a valley.

Tonight, it turned the sun into a blazing ball of orange. The fog and the sky around it also took on an orange cast.

The temps were around 70. There was the most marvelous of breezes blowing. And, everything was just perfect...in spite of the Friday night traffic.

Once the sun actually hit the horizon, the bottom half disappeared into the heavier fog and it was one awesome, spectacular sight.

I wish I could have captured it on film, but I wouldn't want to carry my camera to sit in the car all day. :)

Anyway, I was gone from 5:30 this morning until 8:00 tonight.

I am very tired and am going to sleep now.

I have words...quite a few, I think. I'm guessing maybe 2,000, but most are still on paper. I typed in 144 and then realized I didn't have the energy to go on.

So, I shall type tomorrow before I start on my Saturday writing, and post my word counts then.

Started a new, very secret story. The reason it's very secret is very secret, too. :)

And, got notes made for Out of the Darkness revisions and revisions on the screenplay, Atonement. Made some notes on new possible names for it, too.

I'm rambling. Time to sleep. Everyone have a good night. Sleep well. Pleasant dreams.
